A small little cafe that from the outside specialises in coffee. And of course it does it well. But we decided to go inside and try the breakfast options and were not disappointed. We were both expecting toasted sandwiches, and that is the bulk of what they offer food wise. After looking over a small menu, it's a small awkwardly shaped place so they are very much constrained by space. It is smart and amazing the options they do provide. This allows them to provide what they do best at a very quick speed. Hubby and Wifey tried the sausage patty muffin and it was really nice. A tomato relish sweet chilly based muffin. Though it was very nice, it was rich. I think it would have been better if It was more a breakfast muffin A McMuffin sort of deal, sausage, bacon, egg. But still it cannot argue, though it was rich. A lot of tempting teats on display, while it was too early, did try the ballymaloe sausage roll. And this is the problem with a small place. The sausage roll, while still hot, has been sat there for some time allowing the fat and the oils to mix into the pastry. Sadly this meant it was tough to cut through, extremely rich to eat, and left grease everywhere. The pasty had been left to go soft before cooking. Again still yummy, but greasy, rich and filling. Of course the coffees were fantastic and make the bulk of the order time. And while we sat we sat the queue quickly built up. A true sign of a good coffee. I recommend coming in early or if you have the time to wait. Hubby and Wifey recommend.

The food can be really nice. Today i got the Caesar salad wrap. It was not as good as the last time i got it. But normally i get very good food from here! Its a small building but they manage the space very well and enough space for plenty of people! To order something here is like ordering in a busy pub, there's no que system.
